More great Book Projects were presented! More books were added to the summer reading list...
GROSS ERRORS!
Miss Holoboff found a few errors in the past couple of days.
2 small ones in the review package materials so the new and slightly improved one is here:

AND, apparently I tried to load the Book Project materials, but they somehow weren't on the blog site! I apologize for those I steered in the wrong directions and here they are, if you still need them!

We began to how our final and BEST Book Projects! We have been treated to some amazing digital movie trailers, some good summaries and hopefully are getting a few titles to add to our summer reading list (or in Miss Holoboff's case, her Kindle purchasing wish list!)
We have heard about some really great books, so hopefully most of the grade 8's will practice a bit of reading to keep their skills honed so they are ready for grade 9 in the fall. The QRI results certainly show improvements in the reading levels of the grade this year, but if you don't use it, you'll lose it!
Finally, here's your review materials so you know how to prepare yourself for the final and what you can expect to see.

The light at the end of the tunnel is fast approaching. Congratulations you have almost made it to the end of grade 8. Be sure to remain positive and relaxed during exam time. Study hard but don't stress yourself out and remember your teachers are here to help; if you are unsure about something simply ask! Here is your Humanities review. Good Luck!
